Israeli Soldier and Two Civilians Rescued from Jericho in Separate Incidents Overnight

An Israeli soldier serving in active duty and two Israeli Jewish civilians were rescued overnight from Jericho by the Civil Administration forces. The soldier was spotted in civilian clothing within the city, posing a risk to her safety. Upon receiving the report, military coordination officers located her and handed her over to security forces. Initial investigation revealed she had entered the city with an Arab Israeli friend to attend a birthday celebration in the city center.

In a separate incident early in the morning, two Israeli women speaking Hebrew were reported in a neighborhood of Jericho. Security forces located and evacuated them to safety. The women explained they had entered the city to meet friends they had met during a trip in Sinai. Both cases were transferred to police jurisdiction, with the soldier placed under the military police investigation.

Security officials emphasized that entering Area A territories is life-threatening and prohibited by law.
