Golani Brigade Destroys Large Hezbollah Weapons Caches in Southern Lebanon

In a recent operation in the security zone of southern Lebanon, the Golani Brigade combat team, under the command of Division 36, located and destroyed large weapons caches belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization. The caches contained launchers, machine guns, explosives, missiles, and other weapons intended to target Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) personnel and Israeli civilians.

The Golani reconnaissance unit played a key role in identifying these weapons stores. Following their discovery, the IDF forces destroyed both the caches and the weapons found within them. The operation underscores the IDF's ongoing commitment to neutralizing threats posed by Hezbollah in the region.

The IDF spokesperson stated, "The IDF will continue to act to remove any threat to its forces and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm the citizens of the State of Israel." The operation included the seizure of weapons from vehicles and storage sites, all documented by official IDF photography.

This action reflects the continued tensions and security challenges along the Israel-Lebanon border, with the IDF maintaining vigilance against Hezbollah's military capabilities and intentions.
