Hapoel Petah Tikva Midfielder Karim Kimwidi Involved in Minor Car Accident Before Friendly Match
Hapoel Petah Tikva midfielder Karim Kimwidi was involved in a minor car accident on July 9 while on his way to the team's friendly match against Hapoel Rishon LeZion from the National League. Fortunately, Kimwidi was not seriously injured and only required light medical treatment. The match, which took place at Rishon LeZion's training ground, ended in a 0-0 draw.
This was Hapoel Petah Tikva's first preparatory game of the season. The starting lineup included Omri Peretz, Omer Katz, Avishi Cohen, Ido Tasa, Hamza Hamido (on trial), Yazan Nasser, Boni Amian, Roy David, Guy Badash, Noam Cohen, Tedros Demlash, and Shavit Mazal. Additional players who participated were Roy Sasson, Stav Israeli, Harel Shalom, Nachman Asal, Omer Kursia (on trial), Tomer Altman, Aviad Hakiki, Majd Dahla (on trial), Tal Kakon, and Omri Cohen.
