Israeli Soldier Enters Palestinian's Car in Gush Etzion, Sparks Kidnapping Alarm but They Are Partners

An Israeli soldier armed with a weapon entered a car driven by a Palestinian in the Gush Etzion area on Thursday, raising suspicions of a kidnapping. Following the report, police launched a pursuit and stopped the vehicle on Route 375 near the settlement of Beitar Illit. The soldier was found unharmed inside the car. Authorities confiscated the soldier's weapon and both individuals were taken to a nearby police station. It was later clarified that the soldier and the Palestinian driver are a couple.
