Extreme Heat Warning Issued for Jordan Valley Ahead of Weekend Temperature Rise
Following the dispersal of morning clouds, weather conditions are expected to be pleasant with a slight drop in temperatures, returning to seasonal norms. However, the Meteorological Service has issued an unusual red warning for extreme heat stress in the Jordan Valley, along with orange warnings for the Dead Sea area, Arava, and the valleys.
Today, Thursday, skies will clear to partly cloudy with a slight temperature increase mainly in the highlands and inland areas. Tonight will be partly cloudy. On Friday, after morning cloud dispersal, the weather will remain pleasant with temperatures stable.
On Saturday, after morning clouds clear, temperatures will rise slightly, especially in the highlands and inland regions, accompanied by a significant increase in heat stress. Forecasted temperatures for major cities include Jerusalem at 18-28°C, Tel Aviv 24-30°C, Beersheba 21-32°C, Haifa 23-29°C, Tiberias 22-34°C, Safed 17-30°C, and Eilat 28-39°C.
