Hapoel Jerusalem Nears Record Sale of John Otomao to French Club Reims
Hapoel Jerusalem has reached an agreement with French club Reims for the transfer of their promising 19-year-old Nigerian defensive midfielder, John Otomao. The deal is reportedly worth at least 1.6 million euros, marking the largest sale in the club's history. Previously, the record was held by Cedric Don's transfer to Maccabi Haifa for 1.5 million euros.
While the clubs have agreed on the transfer terms, negotiations with Otomao himself are still ongoing. The completion of the deal is contingent upon the player obtaining a visa and passing medical examinations. Otomao is expected to arrive in Israel tomorrow before traveling to France to finalize the move.
