US Military Strikes Over 80 Targets in Iran Including Revolutionary Guard Boats
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the completion of a series of precision strikes against more than 80 targets in Iran. The attacks targeted air defense systems, command and control networks, coastal radar sites, missile launch capabilities against ships, and over 60 small boats belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in and around the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM stated that these strikes were carried out in response to recent Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. The US military emphasized that its forces remain prepared to act against Iran if further violations occur.
This operation highlights ongoing tensions in the region and the US commitment to protecting maritime navigation and commercial shipping routes in the strategic waterway.
