Israeli Woman Threatens Arab Couple with Knife at Acre Gas Station, Insults Police

A serious indictment was filed on July 7, 2026, against a woman from Acre following a violent incident at a Sonol gas station on Derech HaArba'a. The woman allegedly threatened an Arab couple with a 22-centimeter knife and hurled severe insults at them. According to the indictment, an Arab man and his partner were blocked by a vehicle at the station. When the man honked to ask the driver to move, the accused exited a convenience store and began verbally abusing the couple with racist and threatening language, including calling them terrorists and using derogatory slurs.

The woman then approached the man's car, brandished the knife, and threatened him to fight her. She accused him of "raping girls on October 7" and called for burning and burying all Arabs. Police from the Acre station arrived at the scene, prompting the woman to flee in her car but she was later arrested on a nearby street. During her arrest, she hid the knife under the driver's seat, resisted the officers by pushing a policeman's hand, and continued to verbally abuse them with threats, including wishing sexual assault upon an officer and threatening to imprison the entire Acre police force.

She is charged with threats, illegal possession of a knife, and obstructing a police officer in the performance of their duties. The case is now before the Acre Magistrate's Court.
