Israeli Woman Threatens Arab Couple and Police with Knife at Acre Gas Station
A serious indictment was filed on July 6 against a woman from Acre following a violent incident at a Sonol gas station on Derech HaArba'a. The woman allegedly threatened an Arab couple with a 22-centimeter knife after the male driver honked at a car blocking his way. She exited a convenience store and verbally abused the couple with severe slurs, including calling them terrorists and using derogatory language.
The indictment states that she approached the man's vehicle waving the knife and shouted threats such as "Come hit me" and accused him of "raping girls on October 7," adding hateful remarks about burning and burying Arabs. When police from the Acre station arrived, she fled in her car but was later arrested on a nearby street. During her arrest, she concealed the knife under the driver's seat, resisted the officer's search, and verbally threatened the police with curses and promises of revenge.
She faces charges of threats, illegal possession of a knife, and obstructing a police officer in the performance of their duties. The case is now before the Acre Magistrate's Court.
