Second Suspect Arrested in Riots Outside Justice Solberg’s Home as Dozens of Haredim Protest at the Tunnels Checkpoint

Dozens of Haredim blocked the Tunnels Route today (Sunday), after a man suspected of involvement in the riots outside the home of Deputy President of the Supreme Court Justice Noam Solberg was arrested in his car near Beitar Illit. According to the police, the suspect, a 26-year-old from Beit Shemesh, refused to follow officers’ instructions and barricaded himself inside his vehicle. In response, police broke into the car, arrested him and transferred him for questioning. Based on the findings of the investigation, a decision will be made on whether to request an extension of his detention.
