Yoaz Hendel and Hili Trooper Form Joint Zionist Political Alliance for Upcoming Elections

Yoaz Hendel, leader of the Reservists' Party, and Knesset member Hili Trooper have agreed to run together in the upcoming elections, establishing a new unified Zionist political force. The announcement, made on July 7, 2026, aims to create a broad Zionist government by forming a significant new political bloc. Hendel emphasized the partnership as a first step toward a new generation of leadership focused on professionalism, partnership, and public service, representing soldiers, volunteers, reservists, and contributors to Israeli society.

In a message to his party activists, Hendel highlighted Trooper's embodiment of the best qualities of the Israeli people, citing personal stories from rehabilitation wards and bereaved families about Trooper's dedication. Hendel also noted his recent completion of reserve service and his commitment to the national mission they have shared over the past two years.

Gadi Eizenkot, chairman of the Yisrael Party, quickly congratulated Trooper, praising him as a unifying and experienced leader essential for Israel's recovery and for forming a Zionist government that will unite the nation and restore the country’s proper path. Eizenkot stressed Israel's need to win and expressed confidence in their success.

This alliance marks a strategic move within the third political bloc, aiming to strengthen the representation of those who bear the burden of national service in Israeli politics. The partnership signals a shift toward a leadership style that values listening, connection, and action over ego and old political games.
