Political Alliance Forms Between Hili Trooper and Yoaz Hendel Amid Candidate Talks

The political alliance between Hili Trooper and Yoaz Hendel is progressing but the official announcement, initially planned for Sunday, was postponed due to Hendel's reserve military service. According to reports, grassroots activists, including some affiliated with Blue and White, have been recruited to support the initiative, and discussions are ongoing to include additional candidates on the list. However, no final decisions have been made yet.

Among the potential candidates considered is Shira Shapira, mother of Enar Shapira who was killed in combat on October 7. Shapira recently resigned from her position at the Ministry of Heritage and stated she has not yet decided on joining. Another name under consideration is Aliza Bloch, former mayor of Beit Shemesh, who said, "Nothing is finalized. I will serve where I can be Minister of Education in a broad government."

Trooper's team denied knowledge of talks involving Bloch or Shapira, emphasizing that Trooper is meeting with people who will be part of rebuilding the country's leadership but declined to provide details. Hendel's team confirmed his current reserve duty as the reason for delaying the announcement and also said they are exploring options but do not recognize any confirmed partnerships with Bloch or Shapira at this stage.
