Brown Bear Breaks Into Tibetan Hotel Room, Startles Guests but Causes No Harm
A brown bear unexpectedly entered a hotel in the Nagchu region of Tibet on Saturday, startling guests but causing no injuries. The bear was first seen walking through the hotel corridor before forcefully breaking into a locked room where two guests were staying. The guests encountered the bear face-to-face and stared at it for several seconds until the animal eventually left the room on its own.
Hotel security cameras captured the entire incident. The hotel owner arrived promptly and managed to drive the bear out of the building using a flashlight and other tools. Following the event, hotel management announced plans to install additional security measures to prevent future bear intrusions.
This rare encounter highlights the challenges of wildlife interactions in the region and the need for enhanced safety protocols in accommodations located near natural habitats.
