Loaded Gun Found Inside Tiberias Business

A loaded handgun with a round in the chamber, along with a magazine and ammunition, was found inside a business in the city of Tiberias. The findings were seized by police forces operating in the area. During the search, a bullet was found in the gun’s chamber, underscoring the immediate danger posed by its possession.

The weapon was transferred to the Israel Police forensic laboratories for further evidentiary processing and in-depth examination as part of the ongoing investigation.

The business owner, a 38-year-old Tiberias resident, was arrested for questioning at the police station, and his remand was extended from time to time by the court. At the conclusion of the investigation and after a solid evidentiary basis was established against him, the Tiberias Prosecution Unit filed an indictment for the offenses attributed to him, along with a request to hold him until the end of the proceedings.

Police also signed an administrative closure order for the business for 30 days. The decision was made because of the illegal weapons kept on the business premises and the real danger they posed to public safety.
