Police Disperse Riots in Jerusalem, 3 Arrested on Suspicion of Assaulting Officers

Police and Border Police forces are working to disperse disturbances at several locations in Jerusalem, including the Russian Compound, HaNevi'im Street and Haim Bar-Lev Boulevard. Demonstrations held in the past hour turned into riots that included blocking traffic routes, attacking police officers and throwing objects. Three rioters were arrested on suspicion of rioting and assaulting police officers. The forces used riot dispersal measures, including stun grenades and mounted police, and are working to restore order and keep traffic routes open.
