Israeli Police Chase and Arrest Suspected Drug Dealer Driving Against Traffic in Herzliya

During a routine patrol on Highway 2, the Israeli police motorcycle unit spotted a scooter rider with significant safety violations. When officers signaled him to stop for a standard check, the suspect fled at high speed, driving dangerously against traffic. The police pursued him through Herzliya neighborhoods and the coastal road. During the chase, the suspect discarded a bag by the roadside. After a determined pursuit, officers managed to block and arrest him within Herzliya city limits. The discarded bag contained a mixture of suspected dangerous drugs. The scooter was found to have a complete ban on use due to severe safety defects, an expired license, and the suspect was driving under the influence of drugs. The suspect was taken for questioning and later released under restrictive conditions.
