Madar is set to sign a three-year deal with an option for two additional years worth $2 million per season, while Blatt will sign a three-year contract worth $1.6 million per season. These salaries surpass previous records in Israeli sports, including football, where Eran Zahavi earned 1.2 million euros per season at Maccabi Tel Aviv before reducing his salary.

Madar's new contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv will be the highest ever for an Israeli basketball player in Israel, exceeding his previous $1.9 million per season contract with Hapoel Jerusalem. Additionally, Hapoel Jerusalem recently set a club record by signing Jared Harper for $1.7 million, and Nes Ziona broke its record with a $450,000 net contract for Adam Ariel.

The current salary rankings for Israeli basketball players in the Israeli Premier League are led by Madar at $2 million per season, followed by his previous $1.9 million deal, Blatt at $1.6 million, Omri Casspi at approximately $1 million, and Roman Sorkin at $900,000.
