13 More Hesder Yeshiva Heads Tell the IDF Their Students Will No Longer Enlist in Armored Corps
Thirteen heads of hesder yeshivas are joining a letter signed by 12 other yeshiva heads to the IDF, in which they wrote that their students will not serve in the Armored Corps following the pilot program to integrate female combat soldiers into tanks.
Among the new signatories are Rabbi Michael Aharonov, head of Yeshivat Maale Ephraim; Rabbi David Amitai, head of Yeshivat Avinoam; Rabbi Shlomo Binyamin, head of Yeshivat Lev Ladaat; Rabbi Eran Tamir, head of Yeshivat Orot Ashkelon; Rabbi Elisha Yinon, head of Yeshivat Afula; and Rabbi Eyal Yaakovovich, head of Yeshivat Safed.
