Efrat Resident Arrested for Running Cannabis Distribution Network Targeting Teens

Police in the Etzion region uncovered a drug distribution network operated by a man in his 30s from the settlement of Efrat. The suspect was found with over 3.5 kilograms of cannabis, which he sold primarily to teenagers in the area and across Israel. Investigators noticed an unusual volume of cereal boxes and registered mail shipments linked to the suspect, prompting a search of his home under a court order. During the search, authorities seized cannabis, other suspected drugs, drug manufacturing equipment, and detailed lists of dozens of customers, including minors. The suspect used registered mail to distribute drugs to various cities nationwide. He was taken in for questioning at the Etzion police station, and the seized substances were sent for laboratory analysis. Following the investigation, the suspect was detained and is expected to appear in court for an extension of his remand. The police continue to investigate the case.
