Maccabi Tel Aviv Extends Oshae Brissett's Contract for Two More Years
Maccabi Tel Aviv has officially extended forward Oshae Brissett's contract for an additional two years, keeping him with the team through the summer of 2028. The 28-year-old, standing 2.01 meters tall, initially joined the club at the start of last season on a one-year deal with an option for a second year. After a challenging start, Brissett significantly improved his performance and became a key player in helping Maccabi fight for a EuroLeague playoff spot until the very end.
This past season, Brissett averaged 8.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague, solidifying his role as an important piece of the team's lineup. Following the contract extension, he received a financial upgrade and expressed his contentment, stating that he feels at home and appreciates how valued he is by the club. The extension was first reported by Sport 5 and confirms Maccabi Tel Aviv's commitment to maintaining its core roster under coach Oded Katash.
