Israeli Aid Mission to Venezuela Plans Support for Refugee Camps and Hospitals
Udi Cohen, head of the Israeli delegation from the Natan Association providing aid to Venezuela, told ynet that the Jewish community in Venezuela is offering significant assistance. Currently en route and located in Panama, Cohen described the situation as one of massive destruction. The team is searching for locations where they can provide help, with plans to reach refugee camps and hospitals. Upon arrival, they expect to receive a clearer assessment of the conditions on the ground.
The association is deploying medical teams and social workers to assist survivors. Cohen highlighted that their social worker, Shir, speaks Spanish and is familiar with the local dialect, which facilitates communication. The delegation also brings interpreters to ensure effective coordination during their mission.
