Yosef Germon, president of the Humanitarian Coalition and former chief rabbi of Guatemala, who also serves as a reserve captain in the Israeli Armored Corps, spoke this week on a major Venezuelan news channel about Israel's aid efforts following the deadly earthquakes last week. During the interview, Germon emphasized his unwavering commitment to assisting the local population without any political considerations. "We are here to help, there is no politics," he stated.

Germon, recognized internationally for his extensive experience leading aid missions and managing emergency operations across Latin America, explained that his approach prioritizes rapid and professional humanitarian response in crisis zones.
