After 48 minutes that entered the sport’s pantheon, the New York Knicks took a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals against San Antonio overnight, between Wednesday and Thursday, thanks to an OG Anunoby game-winning basket and an unbelievable comeback from 29 points down.
Anunoby scored 33 points and hit the winner with 1.2 seconds left to seal a 107-106 victory at the Garden, bringing New York closer to its first championship since 1973. Brunson starred with 36 points and electrified New York. Wemby finished with 24 points and 13 rebounds, and Harper led the Spurs with 21 as they were up by 27 at halftime.
