Shon Weissman Rejects Four-Year Offer From Georgian Club Dinamo Batumi
Israeli striker Shon Weissman has declined a four-year contract offer from Georgian club Dinamo Batumi, according to reports from Sport 5 on June 28, 2026. The proposed deal included an annual salary of 400,000 euros, but Weissman chose to seek other opportunities instead. Besides the Georgian offer, Weissman also holds an offer from a Portuguese league club, indicating potential developments in his career soon.
Weissman scored nine goals and provided one assist this season while playing for Blau-Weiss Linz, which was relegated. His previous clubs include Granada, Salernitana, and Real Valladolid. Last summer, he was considered a candidate for Beitar Jerusalem, but the club now appears to be looking for alternative players.
Weissman's agent, Boaz Goren, told "5 BaAvir - Newsroom" that several European options are expected to be finalized shortly, and Weissman will have to make a decision soon. Regarding Beitar Jerusalem, Goren noted that "anyone can represent Shon in Israel; everyone knows who he is and what he is worth."
