Singer Osher Cohen Gets Medical Care Overnight After Onstage Injury
Singer and songwriter Osher Cohen needed medical treatment at home overnight, between Thursday and Friday, after hurting himself during a busy day of performances that included three shows around the country. During one of the performances, he jumped on stage, landed awkwardly, and injured his leg.
According to people familiar with the details, the leg began to swell and he was in pain, but he still chose to go back on stage and complete the final show rather than cancel it and disappoint the thousands of fans who had come.
Only after returning home and feeling the pain worsen was a doctor called in to provide initial treatment, amid concern that he may have suffered a sprain. Cohen is expected to undergo additional tests and treatment during the day to determine how serious the injury is.
At this stage, his upcoming performances are expected to go ahead as planned.
