Two Teenagers Shot in Jaffa, 15-Year-Old in Critical Condition
Two young men were shot Thursday evening on Ibn Rushd Street in Jaffa, and both were taken to Wolfson Hospital after receiving emergency treatment at the scene. According to Magen David Adom, the 15-year-old was wounded critically and was evacuated while CPR was being performed, while the 17-year-old was listed in moderate condition.
Senior MDA medics Yosef Kurdi and Matan Mizrahi said the 15-year-old was found unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, with severe penetrating injuries. They said, "We gave him life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital in critical condition, and we are fighting for his life. At the same time, additional teams treated another teenager who was injured moderately."
Police from the Jaffa station arrived at the scene, opened an investigation into the circumstances, and began collecting evidence. Police said the shooting was apparently criminal in nature, and the case remains under review.
