Two Teenagers Wounded in Jaffa Shooting, One Critically
Two teenagers were shot in Jaffa on Thursday evening, leaving a 15-year-old in critical condition and a 17-year-old in moderate condition. Police said the apparent motive was criminal, and an investigation has been opened.
The shooting took place on Ibn Rushd Street in the city. Magen David Adom teams treated the wounded at the scene and evacuated them to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon.
Senior paramedics Yosef Kurdi and Matan Mizrahi described a severe scene. They said they found the 15-year-old unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing, with serious penetrating injuries. “We provided life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital in critical condition, and we are fighting for his life,” they said.
Police from the Jaffa station began collecting evidence at the scene. The circumstances of the attack are still being examined.
