A Torah honor ceremony and prize distribution were held at the Tchchnov Yeshiva for dozens of students who were tested on the entire tractate Pesachim. The event was held together with a sheva berachot celebration for the son of the yeshiva head, Rabbi Chanoch Tirnauer.
A public examination on the whole tractate was conducted by Rabbi Naftali Nosbaum, Rabbi Tzvi Braverman, and Rabbi Simcha Rabinowitz. Among those present were Rabbi David Alter, the son of the Gerrer Rebbe, and the rebbes of Pinsk-Karlin, Biala, Nadvorna Jerusalem, Skulen, and Zvhil, as well as Rabbi Avish Tzintzirt, a noted kabbalist.
The gathering also included other senior rabbis and public figures. During the event, the yeshiva hall was dedicated as "Heichal Eliyahu" in honor of the yeshiva president, philanthropist Rabbi Eliyahu Klein.
