Maccabi Tel Aviv’s complicated negotiations with guard Lundberg are still far from an agreement, and the gaps have widened sharply. According to the report, his representatives initially asked for $1.6 million, while Maccabi was willing to offer $1.2 million and expected some flexibility.
That expectation has faded as Lundberg’s market value has risen. In a radio interview on "5 Be'Air," Eric Stillman revealed the latest demand: $10 million for three seasons. The figure is far above the club’s previous offer and makes a deal significantly more difficult.
For comparison, the article says Lundberg earned about 1.3 million euros last season. In the coming season, 800,000 euros of that amount were to be paid by Maccabi Tel Aviv and 500,000 euros by Partizan Belgrade. At this stage, it is unclear whether the sides can bridge the gap.
