Singer and actress Lihi Toledano is currently filming "The Limited" ("HaMugbalim"), a new Keshet 12 drama based on a stage play of the same name from the previous decade. The series was created by Gur Koren together with the original play’s director, Gilad Kamhy, and centers on a married crime-family couple played by Shani Cohen and Amos Tamam, who send a theater troupe of people with disabilities to a festival abroad as part of a dangerous drug-smuggling operation.
Alongside Tamam and Cohen, the cast includes Agam Rodberg, Toledano, Naya Binstock and Roi Miller. In social-media footage from the set, Toledano showed that she changed one of the features most associated with her appearance, her curly hair, which was pulled back for the role. She captioned the clip, "A look of a 14-year-old, I liked it," and shared additional photos from the makeup room and from the set with Cohen.
The 24-year-old performer first appeared on screen in the seventh season of "The Next Star." Since then she has acted in television series and stage productions, including "Mary Lou," "Tzlata," and the role of Belle in "Beauty and the Beast." About a week ago, she also released a live-session version of her album "Ometz" and celebrated with a show at Tel Aviv’s Barby club.
Toledano wrote on Instagram that working on the album reminded her how much she loves music, adding that the magic in the studio still stayed with her and hoping it would move listeners as it moved the team.
