Meta has unveiled a new generation of AI glasses in partnership with EssilorLuxottica, expanding its push to become a major player in the smart eyewear market. The line includes three main models aimed at different audiences: Meta Adventurer, with a classic rectangular frame for everyday wear, Meta Fury, with a more striking design, and Meta Glasses by Kylie, a new model created with Kylie Jenner that features a narrow oval frame inspired by her style.
The glasses come in a wide range of colors, lens types and customization options, including prescription lenses. Meta said users can switch to prescription lenses even after purchase without voiding the product warranty. The devices run on a new version of Meta AI powered by Muse Spark, the first AI model from Meta Superintelligence Labs, which was built specifically for the company’s products and adds multimodal capabilities that combine voice, image and environmental context.
Meta says the glasses can provide real-time answers and recommendations, help with navigation, manage tasks and execute actions through voice commands alone, without taking out a phone. They also include a dedicated Meta AI button, an in-built camera for photos and videos, microphones with wind-noise reduction, and open speakers for music, podcasts and calls while keeping users aware of their surroundings. The company also highlighted comfort upgrades such as adjustable nose pads, adjustable arms and more flexible hinges.
Battery life exceeds eight hours of use, and the included charging case adds up to 40 more hours. Meta also introduced a new charging stand for most of its AI glasses. Alongside the launch, the company announced upcoming features, including Dynamic Photo, which automatically captures several frames and suggests the best shot, support for 14 additional real-time translation languages, including Japanese, Mandarin, Hindi and Korean, and a forthcoming display-free walking navigation feature. The new series is on sale now in select countries starting at $299.
