The National Bureau for Countering Antisemitism and the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs has released a report detailing planned pro-Palestinian protests worldwide, coinciding with the third anniversary of the October 7th Hamas attack. The report identifies 262 planned demonstrations across 37 countries, with a significant number scheduled for the upcoming weekend. The United States is expected to host 45 events, followed by Spain with 40, Australia with 21, the United Kingdom with 19, and Italy with 16. Germany and Canada anticipate 14 events each, France 10, and the Netherlands 8.

Approximately 46% of all 262 events are slated for Saturday and Sunday, with 75 events, or 29% of the total, scheduled for October 7th itself. The report classifies 87 events, about one-third of the total, as posing a "medium" or "high" risk. High-risk events include 4 in Canada, and 2 each in Greece, Italy, the United States, and Australia. Other notable locations for protests include Barcelona, Bogota, Paris, Istanbul, Bangkok, Santiago, London, Berlin, and Amsterdam.

Of particular concern, 45 events are planned near Israeli embassies, consulates, or other identified Israeli properties, with 30 of these occurring within 2.5 kilometers of an Israeli asset. Specific high-risk proximity events include a demonstration in Dam Square, Amsterdam; an event in Helsinki approximately 300 meters from Israel's embassy; a high-risk event near Parliament Hill in Ottawa, about 350 meters from the Israeli embassy; and an event in Frankfurt, roughly 370 meters from a hotel used by Israeli visitors. Two additional high-risk events in Italy are planned in Milan, about 700 meters from an Israeli property, and in Rome, approximately 2.2 kilometers from an Israeli asset.
