The Admor of Rachmastrivka engaged in intense prayer and devotion during Hoshana Rabbah and the subsequent Simchat Torah holiday. Photographer Shuki Lerer documented the Rebbe's sacred service, including his fervent swaying during Hoshana Rabbah.
The documentation also captured the "second hakafot" ceremony, a special iteration of the Simchat Torah ritual where Torah scrolls are danced with, held in the Rebbe's large study hall in Jerusalem. The event was attended by Hasidic followers.
