School Principal Arrested for Displaying Photos of Terror Leaders

A school principal in al-Eizariya was arrested on suspicion of incitement and encouraging terrorism after pictures of Yahya Sinwar and Yasser Arafat, along with other materials, were found at the educational institution. When questioned by police about the figures in the photos, she reportedly responded, "Heroes of Palestine." The arrest followed intelligence gathering by detectives from the Ma'ale Adumim station, which indicated that signs and images supporting terrorist acts were displayed throughout the school. Police officers, along with special patrol and border police units, arrived at the school overnight and apprehended the principal, a resident of al-Eizariya in her 50s. During a search, forces located and removed the materials, which included photographs of Sinwar and Arafat, as well as a map of Israel marked with "occupation zones" and images of security forces. The principal was taken for questioning and subsequently detained. Police stated they will continue to identify and thwart content suspected of inciting terrorism or expressing solidarity with terrorist organizations and operatives.
