Israeli police arrested the principal of an Arab school in the East Jerusalem village of Al-Eizariya on suspicion of displaying materials that support terrorism. The arrest followed reports that signs and pictures of terrorists, including those expressing support for terror acts, were displayed within the school. Police forces from the Ma'ale Adumim station, along with special patrol units, apprehended the principal, a resident of Al-Eizariya in her 50s, during the night.

During the operation, authorities searched the school and immediately removed and confiscated the inciting materials. According to the police, the confiscated items included images of "terrorist murderers" such as Yasser Arafat and Yahya Sinwar. Also found was a map of Israel labeling areas as "occupied territories" and pictures of security forces.

When questioned by officers at the scene, the principal reportedly referred to the individuals in the pictures as "heroes of Palestine." She was subsequently taken for interrogation at the Ma'ale Adumim police station, where she was detained after the questioning concluded.

The police stated that they will continue to monitor and thwart content that incites, encourages, or supports terrorism and terrorists, both physically and online, recognizing that such incitement can lead to loss of life and endanger public safety.
