Hapoel Jerusalem announced the expanded coaching staff that will guide the club in the 2026/27 season. The Jerusalem team had already said it was signing head coach Sasha Obradovic and guard Jalen Smith, and on Tuesday it presented the rest of the professional staff.
Obradovic will lead the team, with three assistants under him: Shay Olarczyk and Theodoros Yinakopoulos, both of whom also served under Yoni Alon, plus a new arrival who came with the Serbian coach from Crvena zvezda, Boris Peta. Peta is 38 and was Obradovic's assistant with the Serbian club.
Before that, Peta worked as an assistant to Alexander Dzikic with the Georgia national team, and he also coached in clubs in Georgia and Kazakhstan. The club also said Guy Gefni will serve as head of performance, Yair Shevach as individual skills coach, and Efi Aviv as strength and conditioning coach.
