Maccabi Tel Aviv officially named Kenny Miller as its head coach on Tuesday for the coming season, with an option for one more year. Miller had already overseen the team at the end of last season after replacing Ronny Deila, and he joined the club in January 2026 as part of the senior coaching staff before becoming interim coach during the playoff matches.
After signing, Miller said it was “a great honor” to be appointed Maccabi Tel Aviv’s head coach. He added that from the moment he arrived, he felt “the passion, ambitions and expectations” that make the club special, and thanked Maccabi’s ownership and management, including Maccabi owner Mitch Goldhar, Jack Angelidis, Stephen Anhern and others, for their trust.
Goldhar said Miller had earned “appreciation and respect from all of us” since arriving in January because of his professionalism, work ethic and understanding of the standards, ambitions and values required at Maccabi Tel Aviv. Sporting director Stephen Anhern said the appointment fits the club’s direction and goals for the coming seasons, which include a professional approach built on high performance, adaptability and playing style.
