  • IDF eliminated Hamas operative Muhammad Abdelaziz Muhammad Naggar in Gaza.
  • Naggar infiltrated Israel on October 7th and posed as a journalist.
  • He was involved in terror plots and rebuilding Hamas's capabilities.
  • IDF took measures to prevent civilian casualties during the strike.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated a Hamas terrorist in southern Gaza on Wednesday who had infiltrated Israel on October 7th and subsequently posed as a journalist. The eliminated operative was identified as Muhammad Abdelaziz Muhammad Naggar, a member of Hamas's military wing.

Following his infiltration during the October 7th massacre, Naggar presented himself as a journalist, concealing his affiliation with Hamas's armed wing. The IDF stated that Naggar had recently been involved in advancing terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, and worked to rebuild Hamas's capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire agreement.

Prior to the strike, the IDF reported taking measures to minimize civilian harm, employing precision munitions and aerial surveillance. Forces under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area and will continue operations to neutralize immediate threats.
