Iran Accuses Israel of Plotting False Flag Attacks After Flydubai Incident

Iranian media outlets have alleged that Israel's Mossad intelligence agency is planning "false flag" attacks targeting aviation infrastructure in the region. According to reports citing security sources, the alleged plot aims to stage attacks on aircraft or airports, potentially causing mass casualties, and then falsely blame Iran to increase international pressure on the country. The Iranian agency Fars claims that Iranian intelligence services are actively working to thwart this supposed operation.

These accusations emerged following an emergency incident involving a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Israel's Ben Gurion Airport. The aircraft experienced a sudden loss of altitude and issued a distress signal, prompting an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. During the flight, the crew activated code 7500, which signifies unlawful interference with an aircraft.

Israeli authorities are currently investigating the incident. Initial reports from Israeli sources suggest the co-pilot may have attacked the captain with a knife, leading to intervention by other individuals on board.
