New Poll Shows Gadi Eisenkot Leading, Netanyahu Bloc Securing Majority
A new poll conducted by the "Maagar Mochot" institute for Channel 16 reveals a surprising political landscape less than a month before elections. The coalition bloc, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, currently holds 53 seats, while the opposition bloc, headed by Gadi Eisenkot, has 51 seats.
Individually, Eisenkot's "Yashar!" party leads with 21 seats. The Likud party, led by Netanyahu, follows with 19 seats, and Naftali Bennett's "Yachad" party secures 14 seats.
Among religious and right-wing parties, Shas and Otzma Yehudit each garner 8 seats. United Torah Judaism receives 7 seats, and Religious Zionism-Identity obtains 6 seats. Combined, the religious parties reach 15 seats.
