Hostage Family Member Slams Netanyahu Over October 7 Failures

Einav Tsengauker, a relative of a hostage held in Gaza, delivered a strong speech at a rally in Tel Aviv's Hostages Square, criticizing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Tsengauker accused Netanyahu of ignoring numerous early warnings about the impending disaster that led to the October 7th Hamas attacks. She specifically mentioned intelligence from senior security officials, including the IDF Chief of Staff and the head of the Shin Bet, as well as alerts from regional countries like Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

She further alleged that Netanyahu is attempting to evade direct responsibility for the failures by employing fear-mongering campaigns and tactics against the public. Tsengauker urged the public not to let fear obscure the facts and to keep the October 7th failures at the forefront of public discourse.

Concluding her remarks, Tsengauker stated that the leader in charge during the disaster, who led to the failures, is unfit to continue leading and is no longer qualified to make decisions regarding Israel's security.
