Tiv Ta'am Supermarket Chain Raises Over $27,000 for Rehabilitation Center

The Israeli supermarket chain Tiv Ta'am has concluded a significant fundraising campaign benefiting the Loewenstein Medical Center for Rehabilitation, part of the Clalit health organization. The initiative, conducted across 48 of the chain's branches nationwide, successfully raised approximately NIS 102,000 (about $27,000 USD).

A celebratory check presentation ceremony was held at Tiv Ta'am's flagship store in the Poleg industrial zone in Netanya. Attendees included senior executives from Tiv Ta'am Group and the Friends of Loewenstein Association. The funds are designated to support the operations of the medical center, which is described as the largest rehabilitation center in Israel and one of the world's leading facilities.

The Loewenstein Center provides care for individuals recovering from various conditions, including IDF soldiers and security forces personnel, victims of hostile acts, road accidents, strokes, and spinal cord injuries, aiding their return to independent living and function.

Hagai Shalom, CEO and owner of Tiv Ta'am Group, expressed pride in supporting the center, especially during a complex period marked by war, which has led to numerous injuries among soldiers and security personnel requiring extensive rehabilitation. He thanked the chain's customers and employees for their contribution to the campaign's success.

Erez Meltzer, Chairman of the Friends of Loewenstein Association, acknowledged Tiv Ta'am's impressive mobilization and support. He emphasized that community donations are crucial for the center to continue providing the necessary professional and human support to patients during their rehabilitation journey, highlighting the hope for recovery and independence that such partnerships foster.
