Opposition Parties Form Joint Task Forces for Election Victory

Israeli opposition parties, describing themselves as "parties of change and correction," announced on Tuesday the formation of joint working teams aimed at winning upcoming elections and establishing a stable, official government. The parties stated in a joint release that the "important elections, in 28 days, will determine the path the State of Israel will take in the coming years."

Following what they termed "years of internal polarization, lies, failures, and loss of trust," the opposition parties declared they bear the responsibility to form a government that will "return Israel to its path, unite it, and restore security, prosperity, and hope to Israelis."

During a meeting of party leaders last Saturday, three joint working teams were established to enhance cooperation and prepare for the elections. One team will focus on increasing voter turnout and ensuring election integrity on election day. Another team will develop the core principles and a 100-day action plan for the next government, including issues such as equal burden-sharing for military service, forming an official inquiry committee into the failures of October 7, defining the prime minister's term length, and establishing a constitution for Israel.

The third team will handle media coordination, combating misinformation, and countering defamation campaigns. The parties emphasized that these teams have already begun their work, aiming to consolidate joint efforts for victory and the formation of the incoming government, with leaders expressing a deep commitment to working together.
