Yair Golan, chairman of the Democratic Movement, condemned the recent arson attacks in the Palestinian village of Jalud, near Nablus, stating that the violence in the West Bank does not occur in a vacuum. He asserted that when a government creates an atmosphere of lawlessness and encourages extremists to ignite the area, it bears responsibility for any bloodshed.
