Israeli Forces Conduct West Bank Raids, Arrests; One Injured in Jenin

Israeli forces launched widespread raids and searches across multiple areas of the West Bank on Tuesday, resulting in confrontations, arrests, and the inspection of dozens of homes. Residents reported being subjected to abuse and detention for hours, with field interrogations taking place. Military presence and reinforcements were observed in several cities and towns.

In Qabatiya, south of Jenin, a young man was wounded by live fire during an Israeli raid. He was detained by the forces, and paramedics were prevented from reaching him for several minutes before he could be transported for treatment. Soldiers also reportedly assaulted and abused several young men during their detention. Military vehicles were seen throughout Jenin city, and forces arrested Thaer Al-Tayeb Jaradat after raiding a gas station, according to local sources.

In the Ramallah governorate, Israeli forces raided the village of Al-Mughayyir, north of the city, carrying out searches and arrests. Concurrently, settlers attacked the village, setting fire to a home and several vehicles, local sources reported.

In Nablus, Israeli forces entered the city from the Awarta checkpoint and deployed in the eastern area with military reinforcements. They also raided the village of Madama, south of the city, searching homes in the Al-Khalleh Al-Iman neighborhood and the northern mountain area, arresting several young men, including Azz Jaa'ra. Homes in the Balata refugee camp, east of the city, were also raided.

Settlers also attacked the village of Qaryut, south of Nablus, while military incursions continued in other parts of the governorate. The raids extended to other West Bank areas, including the town of Aqaba north of Tubas, the Ras Shehada area in the town of Anata northeast of Jerusalem, and a home in the town of Hableh south of Qalqilya. Forces also raided a home in the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarm. In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, searching a home as part of the ongoing military campaign that began at dawn.
