Feiglin Calls for Netanyahu's Resignation, Pledges Tough Stance

Moshe Feiglin, who recently joined the Religious Zionism party led by Bezalel Smotrich, stated on Monday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should have resigned immediately after the October 7th Hamas attacks. Speaking on Knesset Channel, Feiglin asserted that Netanyahu "should have handed over the keys on October 8th and left." Despite this criticism, Feiglin indicated he would recommend Netanyahu form a government, but vowed to make his tenure difficult by setting clear red lines. These include halting supply trucks to Hamas and advocating for a new direction for the national right-wing camp, focusing on security, occupation, expulsion, and settlement.

Feiglin also broadened responsibility for the October 7th failures, stating that both the right and the left are culpable. He criticized all political factions for using the event to attack opponents rather than focusing on understanding what happened and preventing future occurrences for the sake of future generations. He emphasized the need for a completely new approach from the security establishment.
