Israeli Boxing Champion Ahvat Hashem Gordon to Undergo Critical Surgery

Israeli boxing fighter Ahvat Hashem Gordon announced he will be undergoing surgery due to a herniated disc that has caused him significant pain. Gordon revealed the medical issue in an Instagram video, explaining that it necessitates a break from his training and upcoming fights. He is scheduled for a minor surgery at a hospital in central Israel on Tuesday.

Gordon addressed his fans, many of whom had inquired about his absence from training and his next fight. He expressed gratitude for their support throughout his successful year, which included international and domestic victories. He stated that his fans deserve to be part of his journey, including this medical challenge.

"After the past year, all the madness and more fights, fights, fights... I don't regret anything, there was a herniated disc, a rupture that I suffered from for a long time," Gordon explained the reason for the surgery. He assured his followers that he would document his recovery process through a weekly vlog, emphasizing his determination to overcome this obstacle and return stronger.
