Meni Assayag Labels Anti-Government Protesters 'Terrorists,' Blames Them for October 7

Screenwriter and television creator Meni Assayag, known for his right-wing views and opposition to anti-government protests, has escalated his rhetoric against protest organizers, whom he refers to as 'Kaplan organization' members. In a harsh social media post, Assayag labeled the protesters as terrorists and accused them of undermining Israel's foundations, destroying the IDF, and betraying the nation.

Assayag claimed that the protesters' actions continued even after the October 7th Hamas attacks, stating, "They continued their crimes even after the massacre they brought upon us." He further asserted a direct link between the protests and the attack, concluding, "No Kaplan, no massacre. There is Kaplan, there is a massacre."

This outburst follows recent reports that Assayag's family has been subjected to harassment. Assayag previously threatened those harassing his family, stating he would "make you miserable" and "twist your crooked form" with "no mercy or compassion."
