Israel Police Investigate Arson Attacks in Palestinian Villages
Police in the Judea and Samaria district have launched an investigation into arson attacks targeting vehicles and graffiti incidents in the Palestinian villages of Ras Karkar and Deir Abu Mashal. Security forces, including police and the IDF, were dispatched to the scenes overnight to collect evidence and gather witness testimonies.
The incidents occurred on the night of September 28, with several cars reportedly set ablaze in Deir Abu Mashal, located northwest of Ramallah. Hebrew graffiti was also found scrawled on walls, including a biblical verse, "God of vengeance, Lord, God of vengeance, shine forth," alongside a Star of David symbol. The local council of Deir Abu Mashal has attributed the attack to Israeli settlers.
Similar events also took place in the village of Ras Karkar, where vehicles were vandalized. The investigation is ongoing.
