Israeli Forces Conduct Widespread Raids Across West Bank and Jerusalem

Israeli forces launched extensive raids across the West Bank and East Jerusalem early Monday, resulting in confrontations, arrests, and detentions. The forces searched homes, disturbed residents' belongings, and subjected several Palestinians to mistreatment. In occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli troops raided the town of Biddu and nearby villages, detaining dozens of young men for on-site investigations while intensifying military restrictions at the area's entrances. The forces also entered the Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, raided homes, and arrested Mohammed Abu Ghuweila after raiding his residence.

In the Nablus governorate, Israeli forces entered the town of Sebastia and its archaeological site, along with raiding several homes in the town of Beita, south of the city. Raids also continued in the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas, with a significant military presence. The incursions extended to the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, where forces raided the villages of al-Mughayyir and Yabrud, and the area around Birzeit University. A house was reportedly converted into a military outpost, and several roads and entrances were blocked. Local sources reported the closure of the Atara, Ein Siniya, and Rawabi checkpoints to Palestinian vehicle traffic.

In the Hebron governorate, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Ummar and the Triangle of al-Tabaqa in Dura, and continued raids in the town of Samou, south of the governorate. These actions occurred concurrently with Israeli settlers' incursions into archaeological sites, prompting the Directorate of Education to postpone school attendance until the Israeli forces withdrew. Bilal Jamal Dandeis was arrested by Israeli forces during a raid in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Hebron city.

The campaign also included a raid on the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, and the Faraa refugee camp in Tubas. Meanwhile, settler attacks against Palestinians and their property continued in several areas under the protection of Israeli forces, alongside ongoing military measures and movement restrictions for Palestinians in the West Bank.
